Hornos Eléctricos de Venezuela S. A. (HEVENSA),
is a Venezuelan Company of private capital which procedes
and commercializes Ferroalloys, belongs to the MARQUEZ BARRY
GROUP CORPORATION. It was constituted on May, 08 1970 and
it's production began in April 1973. It occupies 97.000
Mt2 of land and is geographically located in the area of
Matanzas, Ciudad Guayana, Bolivar State. HEVENSA has four
(04) submerged arc electric furnaces of an installed capacity
of 46.5 MVA which produce 65.000 MT per year of Ferrosilicomanganese
a year and employs 200 workers who operate three shifts
a day, 365 days a year.
